Research highlights► An iterative learning controller (ILC) is introduced to control a molten steel level system. ► To propose a more realistic algorithm, an P-type ILC with a forgetting factor and a switching mechanism is introduced. ► It is proved that errors are ultimately bounded under periodic bulging disturbances. ► Simulation and experimental results establish the validity of the proposed control method. | | | 10. | Image Postprocessing by Non-local Kuan’s Filter Original Research Article Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation, In Press, Accepted Manuscript, Available online 4 January 2011 Renqi Zhang, Wanli Ouyang, Wai-Kuen Cham | | | 13. | Microstructure, hardness and stress in melted zone of 42CrMo steel by wide-band laser surface melting Original Research Article Optics and Lasers in Engineering, In Press, Corrected Proof, Available online 3 January 2011 Chaowen Li, Yong Wang, Bin Han
Research highlights► Laser surface melting is an advanced and highly efficient manufacturing method and has very wide applied perspective in mechanical engineering and industry manufacturing. ► However, stressed-skin construction of the melted zone is one of the predominant factor that deserve a careful study. It is very difficult and costly to select the optimum parameters by experiment, The Finite Element methods may be helpful to solve the problem. ► In this paper, a new appropriate wide-band heat source model was created, and used for calculation in the FE code. ► The calculation results (temperature distribution, residual stress distribution and metallurgic transformation analyses were performed) coincide well with experiments and some regularities were obtained, which is useful for the experiment. | | | 14. | Editorial Board Optical Fiber Technology, Volume 17, Issue 1, January 2011, Page IFC | | |
